Free competitions guide
How to find South African competitions that cost nothing to enter, and why most paid competitions must offer a free route as well.
Read itIkonik Studio, the Johannesburg web design and branding studio, is giving one South African business a custom website worth R15,000. Entry is free and takes a couple of minutes. Here is what the prize includes, how to enter, and what makes a small business website actually bring in work.

A professionally designed website built specifically for your business, not a template with your logo dropped in. It is worth R15,000.
The prize covers up to five pages, a layout that works properly on phones, contact forms that land in your inbox, links to your social accounts, and a basic SEO setup so Google knows what your business does and where it is.

Entries are taken right here on Yebo Wins. Create a free account, fill in the entry form on the competition page, and tick the boxes you agree to. That is it.
There is one entry per person, and it costs nothing. The competition closes on 1 December 2026, and the winner is contacted after it closes.
Small businesses that still run on a Facebook page or a WhatsApp number. Side hustles that are ready to look like a real business. Owners whose current site is slow, hard to update or embarrassing to send people to.
If a proper website would change how customers find you, this one is worth two minutes.
Ikonik Studio is an independent digital studio based in Randburg, Johannesburg. They build websites, online stores, brand identities and AI tools for founders and owner-led businesses across South Africa, the UK and Europe.
One small team designs and builds everything, with fixed pricing and a working demo every Friday, so clients see real pages in a real browser rather than mockups. They build on WordPress, Shopify or custom code, depending on what suits the business, and set it up so your own team can edit it after launch.
Ikonik's sites are live, so you can judge the work for yourself. Recent projects include the hygge. ice cream store, the Erf. property services site, Deacon and Associates, the Typesay font marketplace and Squishly Tools.
In the interest of being upfront: Yebo Wins itself was designed and built by Ikonik Studio.

A good looking site that nobody finds does not bring in work. The basics matter most: a clear page for each service you offer, page titles and descriptions that say what you do and where, and your address, phone number and hours written the same way everywhere they appear.
Speed matters too. Most South Africans browse on their phones, often on mobile data, so pages need to load quickly and work with one thumb. Pair the site with a Google Business Profile, ask happy customers for reviews, and keep adding useful content, and local searches start to come your way.
That basic SEO setup is part of the prize, so the winning business starts on the right foot.

Ikonik offers a free website check that shows what is holding your current site back, and you can talk to the team directly about a site of your own. Email hi@ikonikdigital.co.za or start on their website.
Yes. The competition is run by Ikonik Studio, entries are collected on Yebo Wins, and entering is free.
Nobody from Ikonik or Yebo Wins will ever ask you to pay a fee, send airtime or share banking details to claim the website. If you get a message asking for any of that, it is not from us.
